Parcelas Calcário/ Xisto
Herdade do Cebolal is located on the Costa Vicentina, ten kilometres away from the coast.
This proximity to the Atlantic and the soils rich in schist, clay and limestone confers to this wine’s unique characteristics of freshness, high concentration of acidity and minerals. This property belongs to the same family for more than a century.
The fourth and fifth generation of winemakers created a new project, the “terroir wines” or the “land parcels wines”. The wines Herdade do Cebolal Land Parcels represent three brothers.
The Herdade do Cebolal Limestone and Shale Parcel is a “Sailor”, the more technical and classic brother. This wine has the rebel character of the Shale Parcel and the elegance of the Limestone Parcel. It was produced with grapes grown on soil mixed with schist and limestone.
