Herdade do Cebolal is located on the Costa Vicentina, ten kilometres away from the coast.
This proximity to the Atlantic and the soils rich in schist, clay and limestone confer unique characteristics of freshness, a high concentration of acidity and minerals on this wine. This property belong to the same family for more than a century.
The fourth and fifth generation of winemakers created a new project, “terroir wines” or “land parcel wines”. The wines Herdade do Cebolal Land Parcels represent three brothers.
The Herdade do Cebolal Limestone Parcel is an “Athlete”, the most conservative brother, more demanding of himself, more reflective. It was produced with grapes exclusively grown on limestone-rich soil.
