Quinta Cova da Raposa

The “Fox Den Farm” has 2 Hectares of vineyards in the outskirts of Braga. Manuel and Elisabete also produce diverse organic fruits and herbs, in the granitic soils of the farm, which faces South and has excellent exposition to sun and wind, at an altitude of 350m. The grapes grown are the indigenous Alvarinho and Avesso. They are associated to Vinibio, a local organic cooperative of wine producers, where they leave the grapes not used for their main wine. In 2017 they stopped adding sulphur to their wines.

Tasting Notes Medium straw colour. Complex delicate aromas of tropical fruits, stone fruits and mineral notes. In the palate it is vibrant with well balanced freshness. Long finish.

Fermentation process Spontaneous Fermentation in Stainless Steel vats with temperature control. Stays on the lees for 3 months.
