Quinta da Palmirinha
Fernando Paiva was the first biodynamic winemaker to be certified in Portugal, and currently is the only certified by Demeter. At the farm it is mandatory to respect the soil and to stimulate the equilibrium and connection of the mineral, vegetable and animal kingdoms. The vineyard is cultivated with meticulous respect for nature, biodiversity and biodynamic principles.
Chestnut “Power” Flower
In 2016 Fernando also pioneered in the use of biodynamic chestnut flower as a replacement of sulphur, currently it is the only addictive in the winery to the wine.
Pale golden colour. On the nose shows its mineral and citrus character, bitter orange, and stone fruit notes. Doesn’t have fizz. It’s very pure and fresh, with a mineral, stony, dry palate. Firm and long.
