Quinta Cova da Raposa
The “Fox Den Farm” has 2 Hectares of vineyards in the outskirts of Braga.
Manuel and Elisabete also produce diverse organic fruits and herbs, in the granitic soils of the farm, which faces South and has excellent exposition to sun and wind, at an altitude of 350m. The grapes grown are the indigenous Alvarinho and Avesso, around 50% each which makes the total production under 7000L per vintage.
They are associated to Vinibio, a local organic cooperative of wine producers, where they leave the grapes not used for the main wines. In 2017 they stopped adding sulphur to their wines.
